We stayed at Mode for one night to break up our journey. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the room was very clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast was fine although a gluten free cereal such as cornflakes would have been nice as would a wider range of fruit.

Booking Site does not make it clear that gym and pool is across road and is public YMCA gym and pool. Not a problem but would be nice to know. Staff almost over attentive. Spotlessly clean but quite noisy - from room above up to 2am then stopped thank god! Breakfast nice but coffee from machine and not so good....
