The hotel was once lovely but it seems that cost cutting has resulted in it now being very poor value for money indeed. I must say, i visit oakham a lot on business but staying in whipper is almost like staying in my 2nd home. Whipper in hotel is located so well in town and most importantly staff are so good. Hotel has such a nice character and room is clean, tidy. I always enjoy my stay at Whipper in. more

I stayed in this hotel to attend a wedding near by. The room was ok on first inspection, but was not very clean.
