Had a 2 night break here at the end of January. Nicely situated, pleasant staff, especially the lad behind the bar, who showed us to a nice table beside a roaring log fire! We stayed at the Royal for 2 nights (27th & 28th Dec) and enjoyed it very much. The staff were very nice and extremely helpful.
