“My favourite place to relax”

I stay here several times a year ...with good reason..a beautiful house with roaring fires...big comfy sofas and the wonderful hosts Bill and Christine who produce the most fantastic cuisine ...its a magical place and I wouldn't stay anywhere else

I am so glad that you both enjoyed your stay here- especially relaxing in front of the fire. I am glad to say that today the weather has been superb- hence no log fire tonight for probably the first time in ages. Made to feel that we were welcome as we stumbled out of the rain through the front door after risking life and limb crossing the A40 .........not used to moving into fast lane with a boy racer behind me and then braking suddenly to turn across the carriageway. We are so glad that you all enjoyed your family party; apologies for the boy racers on the A40! Our dogs as previously mentioned, love being `mine hosts` and lap up the attention if given, by our visitors..........but are quite clever in keeping their distance from any non- loving pet guests. Beautiful dog friendly hotel. Hotel set in lovely grounds just outside of town centre so nice and quiet. Can be easily walked into town though.
