Had lunch today outside then turned cold so came inside to be told to sit by toilets as not allowed in restaurant as table reserved. 50 mins later we left to see nobody at table. X rude staff. Could be much more welcoming and would encourage us to return and recommend to others. More

4th visit to, and surely the last, to this hotel for drinks/coffee. How can so much money be spent in such wonderful surroundings for the experience to be ruined by dreadful service? Amazing view of Salcombe Bay from our room and due to this we were able to forgive the dirty bed linen, just 'ok' food and noise from the corridor, neighbours.
