Got there 4pm room not ready"because ,deliveries late". Looking around reception area dirty laundry and rubbish outside rooms in full view "not a good start" we thought. We was given our keys... We paid £35 for my family to stay here so like one of the previous reviews I also did not hold out much hope. The room cost should have been £30 but I had to pay an extra £5 for a cot bed that a) was not in the room on arrival even though I had personal assurance that one... More

I paid £25 to stay here so I didn’t have high hopes but I would rather have slept in my car than stayed another night! The rooms as filthy, matted dirty carpets, dirty blankets on the beds and mould growing up the window. The bathroom air filter had mould dripping down from it and stunk - in the morning my... More

This has to be the worst hotel in the world. Upon parking our car we saw a horrible smoking zone looked like a bus shelter and was packed with 10 to 15 people. This put me off straight away, but I gave it the benefit of the doubt. We parked the car and finally found reception. We had to climb... More

Stayed here as it was ideal location as a friend was having a party here ! I drove into the car park to be faced with a huge smoking shelter! The door to the reception was a bit conspicuous! I had to drag my bags up some steep steps ! Anybody with a wheelchair or pushchair would be stuck at... More

This dump makes Fawlty Towers look good. There is no disabled access apart from through the gym which is no longer part of the hotel. The bed was lumpy and felt like it was full of rocks. The place was like a sauna and stank of cigarette smoke. No hand towels, nowhere to put anything in the bathroom or shower.... More

The hotel is shabby - crumbling plaster, threadbare carpets, the rooms are tired and outdated, the bed was very uncomfortable - sagged in the middle, the bathroom was enormous, with a horrid little shower up the corner and loads of wasted space, the window had a nice view of a wall, the light switch was behind the wardrobe, there was... Stopped one night, in a tired hotel that has seen better days. The room was shabby, yet clean, ok for one night after a party but certainly not for a romantic weekend away or a tour of the local area. It was cheap, and you got what you paid for. More
