This was a planned overnighter for the long trek over to Cornwall, and hence was intended to be for one-night only. The unfortunate part was that that night happened to be the start of a summer weekend, and as the hotel is attached to the pub, the noise from some of the happy patrons did tend to filter in through... Stayed here for one night only and trust me........ that was long enough! The hotel was ugly, unwelcoming, old fashioned and in need of a thorough clean and upgrade. As was the same with the staff if I'm to be absolutely honest, although, credit where it's due, they were very polite and as much as they could be, attentive to... More

I stayed in the Hotel for a works christmas party and was very pleased with the standard of the room and service. It has all you need and the staff were very friendly. Obviously the room was not of the standard of some of the major hotal chains however it was clean and had all you would need and overall... More

Stayed here for one night when I was working in a nearby town. Booked late throught their telephone system. They took the wrong date but was sorted at check in. At Check in I asked what time the restaurant stopped serving food and was told 9.30 pm. After going to room, which was basic, not worth the money I paid... More

We arrived at Lunchtime on the 13/8/11 we hadn't pre booked but they got us a room within minutes with parking, the hosts were extremeley friendly and helpful as were the staff. Its really central, town centre is short walk away. The rooms are spotlessly clean, but rather small for a double, the bathroom we had was again clean, but the fittings were very dated. The staff were lovely so very friendly, food was very good, and the breakfast was incredible. There is a beer garden ,bit shabby but okay if you... More

Have to register in the pub as the "reception desk" appears to have limited hours. Bathroom was very moldy Beds uncomfortable but sheets etc. appeared clean Sign advertises daily meals in pub - in reality they don't offer meals on Sunday and very few restaurants are open Sunday evening in Yeovil Free Wifi More

The staff at this hotel were very pleasant and the food was also very nice, however my sleeping experience was not what I would come to expect as a travelling salesman. My room was at the front of the hotel, which made it very difficult to sleep as I could constantly hear voices from outside as well as vehicles passing... More

I have stayed in this hotel many times wth work over the years and ultimately it's more of a B&B than a hotel. The rooms are basic and dated but quite comfortable. The showers are pretty dire. Free wi-fi is a massive bonus, and the food can be exceptional! Avoid the rooms at the front of the hotel like the... More
