A great little place, with nice accommodation and a really good restaurant. Great burger and chips! Breakfast was also very good. I had the little single room which was light and very cosy. Would recommend this place.

We visited one night on our canal boat holiday! Nice atmosphere, prompt service, nice ish pub grub food but bruschetta not so nice! This is certainly the best out of the two in the village but nothing special!

Stayed over for long weekend & family wedding. Groom's family & ushers etc all stayed here. Staff and manager Jim could not have been more welcoming, rooms clean and comfortable, setting idyllic, food was great, full English breakfast (wonderful sausages) kept us going all day!! Couldn't recommend it more!! Would definitely return for another rest.
