was only here for one night after an interview & my partner then joined me in the evening. I stay in loads of hotels (work) and this was exceptionally clean & service excellent. Don't expect a cooked breakfast but the buffet is fine & hey, it's free, what do you expect?.. more

It was our first time at Banbury (we often stay in other EHIs). Lovely, clean, "new" feel, comfortable rooms and trendy bathrooms (great power-showers). The staff were welcoming, personable and showed genuine interest - I felt we weren't just another consignment of customers arriving. Stayed at this hotel on a few occasions and is an excellent place to stay with ample free parking and a Frankie and bennies 1min walk away. Clean, professional, and very business-friendly. This is definately the best hotel in Banbury for the business traveller. Very big car park... and VERY GOOD restaurants next door - a Frankie & Bennys and a Carvery. The hotel bar was also good. In my room I had a 26" flat-screen Toshiba TV with Freeview. Bathrooms are very trendy with blue night-lights.... more
Thank you for taking the time to post such a positive review. You are correct that Holiday Inn Express does not offer gym facilities and does not have a hot breakfast option. However I think that the selection we provide in the morning will please the majority of travellers. We make a point of offering free parking, free internet access...
Efficient receptionist who is supported by a friendly and very helpful team. The hotel is spotless and the rooms of a good standard. Free wireless internet. A special mention must go to Tom. What a great find!! A lovely Holiday Inn Express with fab young staff, couldn't be more helpful. Free wi fi a bonus when travelling with a teenage son and just perfect for a stopover on our to Bicester Outlet Village. So good we are returning in October!! more

I have stayed here a on business and once for a wedding. The hotel is a new style Holiday Inn Express with different types of pillows on offer as well as the usual free breakfast and power showers etc. My advice is to come down early for breakfast as it can get busy and empty towards the end. Thank you for your positive review of our hotel. As you stated breakfast can become very busy on a Sunday morning, so we have decided to extend the time from 11am to 11.30am and extend check out is now an hour later. This should ease any congestion and allow you to fully enjoy your breakfast.
Clean and comfortable hotel with very friendly staff (Seb is incredibly helpful). Perfectly situated just off the M40. more

I stay at this hotel on a very regular basis through business needs, I have yet to have reason to complain in over 60 stays this year. Stayed here for one night whilst visiting family. We had three rooms, all of which were spacious, clean and nicely furnished. As you would expect from this type of hotel. The breakfast was good and the staff were helpful. This hotel offered some nice touches where others don't. We didn't use the free internet but it is there as well... more

We are a business hotel, but due to our central location we do get an awful lot of leisure business, so we are very aware that we must cater to those needs...
