We would certainly stay here again. The proprietors were very welcoming and helpful. We had a family room which was lovely, spacious and very comfortable. It felt like a hotel in some respects with attention to detail. Breakfast was lovely too & even our fussy little monsters enjoyed it! Good value for money too. More

Really good value for money, great breakfast and really accessible from the motorway and centre of Bambury. Clean and tidy rooms, good powerful shower and plenty of parking. More

Fantastic stay, I was upgraded to the biggest chalet with my dog as it was the Christmas period and they were quiet. The room was clean and warm and had coffee, tea & biscuits. Alan & Maureen couldn't have been any friendlier or helpful if they tried. I stupidly got the breakfast time wrong on the 2nd morning but they... More

We booked a twin room for the weekend of a nearby festival, we liked the look of the rooms from the website. We were given an attic room up and down several flights of stairs, it was clean but cramped, and the view from the window was of a chimney. The bathroom was like being on an aeroplane. I lost... Thank you for your review. It's a shame you waited until you checked out to ask about our other rooms, I would have happily moved you to another room as there were others available. The bathroom in your room is a little cramped. I am currently awaiting a quote to remove the sloped ceiling in there. I am pleased you... More

We didn't enjoy our stay, the room was sold as a twin room when in fact it was only big enough to be a single, it was in the attic with little headroom in a large part of the room. The bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen, although I suppose was adequate, there was no wardrobe only a... More

I am sorry you didn't enjoy your stay but as in any hotel/shop/restaurant if you don't let us know you are unhappy there is nothing we can do to put it right for you. We are a guest house and each room is a different shape and size all conforming to our AA 3 star rating. Had we known you... More

We stayed at the Fairlawns last week whilst attending the Cropbredy festival, and think ourselves very lucky to have got a last minute cancelation. Can't fault the place, lovely annex room round the back, V clean & tidy. Good Breakfast Mmm,only a teeny weeny gripe, is that it finishes at 9:00. Lazy bods like me would like a bit longer... More

Arrived at Fairlawns after travelling from Stonehenge through beautiful Oxfordshire. The room we had was very large and spacious and the cheapest we'd had on our trip- £64. One double and one single bed, seperate loo and shower closet, wicker sofa, chair, tea/coffee facilities, hairdryer and large flat screen tv. Free parking outside. My only gripes about the room were:... More

Very clean and comfortable. Staff excellent, they're not intrusive, but there and willing to help with anything you might need - they have a lot of local knowledge and seem happy to suggest and advise people who don't know the area. Excellent value for money, I would definitely stay again. The only thing letting it down were the sausages for breakfast... More
