Basildon is an odd place anyway to be fair, and you have to have a reason to visit! Our room seemed really cheap with breakfast included (albeit at the pub next door) but it is hardly a tourist destination and that is no doubt why. We were taking our son down to Upnor on a trip, so we wanted to stop some where nearby that had a cinema, eateries ect, so we choose Premier Inn, Festival Park. Family Room 2 adults, 2 children.
