Rented a three bed apartment in the old house and boy were we surprised. Beautifully done out and to a high standard. Set in lovely grounds with plenty of parking. No restaurant but a cosy bar and helpful staff. Plenty of pubs and eateries in Buxton which is a 10 min walk. more

My son and fiancee booked all the suites to accommodate their wedding guests. The suites are to a very high standard with quality furnishings and decoration. We stayed in appartment 13 (Wye House) which was in many respects well equipped including a diswasher, washing machine LCD TVs etc... to provide an excellent base for our short break. However, whilst there has been a lot of money spent equipping this appartment at least, there is a lack of attention to detail - coat hooks, hanging space etc.... more
