We had a super couple of nights at Stoop Farm. The location was wonderful - beautifully rural and peaceful. Great room and lovely breakfast. Really couldn't wish for a more perfect place to stay in the Peak District. I would recommend having a decent OS Explorer or Landranger map to find the farm and properly enjoy all the country lanes... More

Stoop Farm makes a welcome change from your "usual" B&B. It gives you a real taste of country life. The room was perfect - spacious and clean with a modern bathroom and a huge comfy bed. We were welcomed with tea and cakes and breakfast was cooked to order. Wonderful views from the lounge/dining room. We visited in Spring so... More

Met by Bez, we were welcomed into the BnB very well. Our room had been upgraded to the Hayloft which was a surprise, and Karen had baked some mini cakes for other halfs birthday. Room is massive, with big bathroom and free standing bath tub. Very good shower with high pressure and gets hot quickly. Tried the bath too, was... More

My wife and I stayed at Stoop Farm for two nights in Hollins Hill View room, and thoroughly enjoyed it. First things first - directions. The farm itself is pretty remote, nestled high up on the side of a short valley a few miles from the main A515 Ashbourne / Buxton road. Directions-wise, you'll be sent a map, though it's... More

I was looking for something in the Peaks, between Manchester and Nottingham and stumbled across the website for Stoop Farm, a hidden gem! I wanted something quiet and comfortable, close to good walks and pubs to celebrate my friends birthday. The Farm had it all in buckets. The rooms are beautiful and Karen is the perfect host, great cake on... More

Myself and my fiancée have just returned from a night at stoop farm. After getting engaged in December, we have left very seriously considering getting married there next year, that's how much of an impression it made on us! Whilst bez was busy on the farm, Karen was treating us like royalty and filling our tummies with her delicious baking!... More

My wife and I stayed just one night, had we been able to, we would have stayed longer. Karen could not have been more friendly. Cake and a cup of tea on arrival was most welcome. Facilities in our room were excellent and could not be faulted in any way. In the visitors' book we found essays written in praise... More
