Booked on last minute.com for £45. Including breakfast. And a free mini bar. Very good value. We went on a climbing trip to hen cloud and roaches so this was an ideal location. As with other reviews the carpet is a little stained, prob due to people entering the room with walking boots on but this is not a luxury... More

Had a fabulous evening at Nat's Kitchen on Valentines night. Check in was simple and we were shown to our room by one of the helpful staff. Added bonus was the complimentary mini bar which was well stocked for the evening. The staff were very helpful (even offered to accomodate us for a valentine's meal if we wanted even though... More

Stayed here with my partner for an early valentines treat... We arrived to be greeted by a pleasant young girl. The restaraunt/bar area is lovely modern mixed with shabby chic so I had high hopes. We were shown to our room by the chef who took us round the back up some dirty stairs and pushed our door open before... More

We stayed one night, paying extra for the colonial room which boasts a four poster bed. We were greeted by one of the chefs who barely said hello before taking us round the back of the building, past the kitchen, and up a dingy stair case. When we entered the room, the smell of damp and must was overwhelming... I... More

Room was roomy but decor is dated and the place could use a good deep clean....surfaces were clean, but things like chandelier, entry stairs (which are off a back alley) etc, were very dirty. There is NO parking, so be prepared to use the pay lot across the street or troll for a spot on the street. We stayed for... More

The bed room was clean but the decor is rather tired. The bathroom was immaculate and would seem to have been more recently updated than the bedroom. We had to wait a while for breakfast and saw the chef running off to get more supplies for the breakfast from the supermarket (probably) whist we waited though the food was good... More

This is a very good restaurant with a few rooms above in which we stayed during Buxton Festival. The approach to the rooms is not very appealing – along a driveway and up fairly steep stairs. Our accommodation was a duplex twin room – adequately furnished, with the wardrobe, bathroom and WC at the upper level. The breakfast was very... More

We didn't stay here, just had dinner on a Saturday night. We called in earlier in the day to make a booking and, though I guess they were pretty full, they fitted us in. The place filled up quickly and this restaurant is obviously popular with the locals. People here seem very friendly and the next table engaged us in... More

We found ourselves in Buxton during the G&S festival . Were struggling to find a B&B.A hotel that was full gave us the number for Nat's kitchen. The bar/restaurant looked modern and inviting. We decided we would check in and grab something to eat there. We were so disappointed with our room. To get to the accommodation you go out... More

We spent three nights and had a great stay and great meals, and we found Nat's to be clean, comfortable, friendly and a good value (both lodging and restaurant). We used Buxton as a home-base for some footpath walks in the beautiful countryside. We also (naively) stumbled upon the 18th International Gilbert & Sullivan Festival there (early August). Wonderful.
