Room was roomy but decor is dated and the place could use a good deep clean....surfaces were clean, but things like chandelier, entry stairs (which are off a back alley) etc, were very dirty. The bed room was clean but the decor is rather tired. The bathroom was immaculate and would seem to have been more recently updated than the bedroom. We spent three nights and had a great stay and great meals, and we found Nat's to be clean, comfortable, friendly and a good value (both lodging and restaurant). We used Buxton as a home-base for some footpath walks in the beautiful countryside. We also (naively) stumbled upon the 18th International Gilbert & Sullivan Festival there (early August). Wonderful.
