Would not recommend to anyone.Rude and unhelpfull,do not go there more

We stayed for one night on our travels to the Outer Hebrides, very comfortable stay, rooms clean and a very nice breakfast. Very accommodating making flasks for our further journey. Nice lounge to sit and have drink and If you are lucky you will even get to see the wild deer roaming the garden. more

I have stayed at the Mayfair on a number of occasions - summer and winter. The hospitality is excellent and the rooms are comfortable. After reading the previous reviews I must say i'm suprised, we found the owners very friendly even giving directions and details of local places to visit, we found the rooms to be warm and inviting, the breakfast I have to say was excellent, OK we had to wait 10 minutes or so but it was hot and fresh not like... more

The Proprietors have never been aquainted with the concept of Customer Service - rude, unhelpful and stingy are just some of the words that spring to mind (they have calculated that to turn on the heating costs them one pound per hour plus vat and council charges - which is why they do not have the heating on for more... more

You will not receive a warm welcome at this B & B, in fact you will not feel any heat at all. The heating is not on at all even when requested by guests. Bring several layers of clothing and a hot water bottle. more
