we love the site, the sea the beach/golf coursewalk into Folkstone. or the walk into Dover.the grand children( all under10) seem to have hours of fun.the shop is minimal and has odd hours.the staff are a bit up tight but we love the site.

We have camped at Folkestone Warren as a group of family and friends for the past 8 years. The site is a little gem, with clean facilities and great service. The locations is superb not only for the beach but also only a short distance to Folkestone. The views are superb, no matter what the weather.

One of our favourite places on the south east coast staying this year 2012 nearly 60 days . Smack almost on the beach. Read our Trip adviser review for 31st May 2012. The road pot holes have now been repaired but caution is still advised due to the steep down hill. It is a place well worth a visit out... More

Only 45 minutes from home, this is a real gem. Our small VW campervan had no problem with the road in to the site. Friendly and helpful staff. Our pitch was at the far end, close to toilets etc--ideal for those of us with no facilities of our own.Immaculate site in perfect position overlooking sea.Certainly out of season it is... More

Visited the campsite for my first ever camping experience. 2 nights, small pitch no electricity. Lovely views from tent in the morning. Could hear the waves crashing on the beach through out the night. Very relaxing. Friendly campers. We stayed in a 2 person pop up tent and managed to get a great pitch (number 63) which was quite secluded... More

Booked through the caravan and camping site website and got a discount so I recommend this as the way to go! * Road down to site is narrow and pitted but I managed it fine in a Saab. *Staff - yes they are pretty miserable and seem very stressed. But we did not have much interaction with the shop. they... More

Great Location, very close to a lovely beach with fantastic views. Although we very much enjoyed our stay, the managers came across as quite rude and for a 2 night stay it was expensive.there is no children's play area and unfortunately no football, kite flying or racket sports allowed on site which was a disappointment to the children.

We with a small group of other camping families have visited the warren site many times over the last six years, and love it's beautiful location, clean facilities and the lovely seafront walk into folkestone. None of those things have changed - it is absolutely charming. However, we were slightly put off by the way we were treated by the... More

Firstly we have frequented this site many times over the last 8 years always visiting out of the main July/August times when it can get packed. Weekends also tend to be busy and access to the site can be challenging due to the locals parking on the the narrow road verge. Caravans are not allowed due to the danger of... More
