This hotel is good value. The service provided by their staff is excellent. All staff members we spoke to were very helpful and very polite. The beds are very comfy too! More

I've stayed at better hotels. This hotel is average, I had a choice of staying here or the cedar court, but I chose this because of the better reviews. The attached italian restaurant had good food, parking was a plus, road noise was a negative. The room was small, tv was tiny 14 inch, some sky channels were freezing up... More

Having clocked up 20 overnight stays here in the last 18 months for business I probably know this hotel almost as well as the staff! It's not a top end hotel - if thats what you are expecting then think about the price you are paying! What it does is offer is a good value, no frills room, great breakfast... More

I stayed at the Briar Court Hotel recently on business. The rooms were basic, but clean and comfortable. What impressed me most was the friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to help. The hotel is easy to get to and well located. I would certainly use it again if work brought me to this area again. More

This hotel is local to us and our nephew arranged his wedding ceremony and reception there. It was very good value for a small wedding (60 guests and in the evening nearer 100). The food was perfectly acceptable and the service attentive without being overbearing. Those guests who stayed at the hotel overnight also said that the rooms were perfectly... More

Just off the M62 this hotel is is good value for money. Quite up to date and not noisy where I was on the back on the hotel. Plenty of parking, nice attentive staff and pleasant bar. Rooms are on the smaller size but OK for the money. The bathrooms were clean and well appointed with toiletries. The room came... More

I stayed 2 nights in October on a family visit and it was a wonderful stay. The lobby/ reception/ bar had a really welcoming and cosy feel to it. The lovely fire effect just as you walked into the hotel made you think you were walking into someones front room and not a hotel. I had requested a room at... More

stayed here for four nights. Very accessible off the M62 but there is a slight downside which I shall recant later. The Hotel is modest in stature but has a very homely feel. Is clean & the rooms are the same. Parking is ample with good lighting to deter the lower elements. The attached Italian restaurant is excellent. Is a... More

I stayed at the Briar Court for a friends wedding, The place was clean, all the staff were helpful and doing an excellent job. I had a twin room and everything worked and there was plenty of tea and coffee in the room. After possibly the best hotel nights sleep ever, the breakfast was a treat, cooked to order served on a... Must have stayed here more than 150 times over the last 10 years - welcome as always - terrific value. Well patronised consistently. Rooms adequate size, pricing always keen especially when great breakfast is included. Will be back - why would I stay anywhere else? More
