First thing that greeted us was a large sick stain on the carpet. The Carpet was filthy and covered in stains. The Beds were ancient and uncomfortable. The bedding was dirty as well as all the fixtures and fittings. The ceiling was stained because of water penetration. The bathroom was disgusting with broken loose tiled floor, mold round the bath... more

First trip to Huddersfield and needed a city centre Hotel. The George was perfect. Really nice greeting and welcome by the reception team. The room was clean and comfortable. I had dinner in the restaurant. Only had a main course but this was excellent. Will be back. more

The George Hotel is a clean and friendly hotel conveniently sited in the centre. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was of a very high standard and the room was very clean and well equipped. more

Completley over priced and in my oppinion this should not be a 3* more like a 1* Staff are not only unhelpful but also... more

The receptionist was pleasant and very helpful and the entrance was clean and quite welcoming. The bar is just off the reception and is comfortable and reasonably priced. My room (216) was quite nice on... more
