Used as a 'base' only, second visit, value for money, it,s a Wetherspoon! Food/service good, well motivated staff, 'run a tight ship'.Located in the square.(top of the 'avenue') ideal for the shops,etc, and a short walk to the prom.

Lady of reception was brilliant! Room was clean but slightly old fashioned. Wi-Fi was not accessible from room and windows are hard to open also the curtains were not suitable and had street lighting and morning day light shinning from the gaps. ...... this was a poor effort, and I wasn't expecting much. Typical Wetherspoon's menu, meal was hot but not particularly appetising, atmosphere rowdy (despite being mostly over 50's!), and only would have been rated as '1' except the staff were polite and the beer quite good.
