We booked lunch at Dunkery Lodge for a family celebration on Easter Monday and were not disappointed - the food was excellent and the service extremely friendly - perfect for a group spanning three generations! Four of us stayed at the lodge for two nights and the rooms were very spacious, beautifully decorated and comfortable. We can particularly recommend the... More

Lovely large room with comfortable bed and immaculate bathroom. Delicious breakfast - easy to see why they have won awards. Location was excellent for us as my mother lives just down the road. Having said that, Dunkery Lodge is within easy walking distance of town and seafront yet nice and quiet. Excellent value for money. We will definitely be back.

I have stayed all over the Minehead area over the last ten years but this will be my only port of call in the future. There is nothing too much trouble for Paul. The beds are the most comfortable beds i have ever slept in and the breakfasts are fantastic. The Breakfast room overlooks the swimming pool and gardens and... More

My husband and I stayed in this excellent Bed and Breakfast from Good Friday to Easter Sunday 2013. From start to finish the service was exemplary. We had an hectic journey from London to Minehead a journey which normally takes 4- 4 1/2 hours and finished up taking us 7 1/2 hours. Paul, the owner, knew about the length of... More

Stayed at Dunkery Lodge earlier this year and enjoyed it so much returned again for our recent visit to Minehead. As many reviews have already said, you receive a warm welcome on arrival and the rooms are very comfortable and clean - much like a home from home. Great selection of options for breakfast and I can personally recommend the... More

We spent a quiet and restful night at this cosy B&B. On arrival Paul pampered us serving a savoury coffee and and a most delicious carrot cake. We later on asked him about the recipe and he was so kind as to email it to Germany. This B&B is easy to reach and allows for interesting walks, drives and excursions,... More

We stayed her for 2 nights over the weekend. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was very good with a range of choices. We were welcomed very warmly by Paul who bought tea and homemade cake to our room while we settled in! The location is ideal for the town centre. We would highly recomend!

Great location: close enough to walk to the main drag, but far enough away to have some peace and quiet. The room was great. It had all the comforts of large hotel (en suite bathroom!) with all the advantages and charm of a bed and breakfast. The food was excellent, the owners were very welcoming and helpful and the house... More

Disappointed we had only booked one night. Dunkery Lodge is just perfect, lovely spacious room, wth two cosy chairs on which to relax after a long day. Luxurious bed and a delicious breakfast. The owner made us feel so welcome,we would love to return. By far the best Guest House we have stayed in to date
