The hotel is a beautiful building set in glorious countryside complete with its own very challenging golf course. The room, one of the "cottages" that is separate from the main building, was excellent. The service in the hotel was very poor. I travelled as part of a 2-day golf break with a group of 12 golfers. On arrival, I had...

Organised an AGM at Donnington Grove at very short notice as our previous venue had closed.
The hotel had recently been bought and it is obviously a good thing, so efficient and friendly.

1 Wet room
2 Large porch with two chairs &...

Choose this hotel as a stopover to Portsmouth. Lovely long drive through the grounds to the hotel and first impressions were favourable as the building is lovely. Friendly greeting and shown to our room (101). This is a fairly large room overlooking the front of the hotel and as requested we had no problem with noise even though there was...

I really dont know where to start. We arrived early and knew we couldnt check in, however we needed directions to the racecourse. Asked the receptionist and she was not very helpful. She told us it was a 20 min drive! I had already done my research so i knew it was not that far. Thank god for my iphone...
