I spent a few days in Scarborough and this B&B was really fantastic: very clean and confy rooms, very good location (walking distance to the beach and the town centre), excellent breakfast. Above all, the owners (Jamie and Michelle) are very friendly and helpful and make you feel like at home. I will surely come back again!

Can not recommend enough!!! This is my 3rd stay at the almar and its fantastic. It's clean, tidy, friendly and only 5 minutes walk from the beach :). Jamie and Michelle are very friendly and make each stay a personal one. I would never consider staying anywhere else :)

The Almar has a really friendly relaxed atmosphere and Jamie and all the staff were really helpful. The decor is modern but homely and spotlessly clean. The quality of the breakfast was amazing, beautifully cooked and presented.

Stayed here for just one night as a getaway following my daughter's recent wedding. We arrived earlier than planned but this wasn't a problem. Jamie went out of his way to welcome us, recommending taxis/eateries etc & giving us directions. On returning later in the evening we enjoyed a drink in the bar. What else is there to say? Jamie - the host - was welcoming and knowledgeable, the room was well appointed and spotless, the bed was comfy and the shower was hot.
