We arrived late one evening and spotted the beaches as it looked the most welcoming on the road. Kindly greeted by dave who happily helped me and my partner out for the weekend. The room was lush with and en suit. Great couple to chat with and very helpful! The area was lovley and not to far from main town.... More

We stayed at very short notice at the beaches and we couldn't have asked for a nicer guest house with nicer hosts than Dave and Sharon. Fabulous hosts, very accommodating and friendly, a huge bonus to us for being pet friendly. We will return and recommend highly.

My collegues and I spent a week at the Beaches whilst 19 students from our school stayed in Scarborough with Club England. We were very well looked after by Sharon and Dave all week. Full English Breakfast served every day at the time of our convenience. Highly recommended! Thomas H. Salvesen Drøbak Norway

Our first impression was the big welcome we received from Sharon (Marshall) the owner, it was fantastic! We were immediatly made welcome along with our family pet 'Snoop' dog. The bedroom complete with balcony was clean, bright and larger than we expected. The view although limited in no way detracted from how pleased we were with the room and the fantastic... More

We booked in here as we could not get in Whitby. To be honest, it'll now be a hard choice between Scarborough and Whitby. Sharon and Dave are lovely, and nothing seems too much for them, from the cracking breakfast in the morning to the tips on where to go or what to do. They room we stopped in had... More
