Excellent 3 star hotel near to the south bay, good accommodation, helpful staff and excellent food for dinner. Hotel has a heated indoor pool and is very accessible for the town as well as the beach. We will go back and would recommend. special offers in the out of season. More

The Palm Court was recommended by friends who stayed there years ago and after reading reviews on Trip Advisor, we thought we would give it a try. So conveniently situated, lovely room, delightful staff especially the charming Polish Restaurant Manager and Barman, and the food was sublime. It was the first time ever that I could have eaten everything on... More

A hotel that meets all your needs with the most fantastic food served at a function that I've ever eaten. Apple creme brûlée was memorable! Would not hesitate to stay again and recommend that if you do stay that you dine there too . More

I visited Scarborough last week and stayed 2 nights in the Palm Court Hotel (the last time I stayed there was 1984 or 85). I love revisiting Scarborough and was fortunate with lovely sunny weather. Great for January. The hotel was much as I remembered it. Clean and smart and the staff were excellent. It has a great swimming pool.... More

Stayed for one night with a large party. Very happy with size of room, facilities etc. BUT the promised pool was closed which was a shame as that was the main reason for booking the hotel. Staff were pleasant and helpful and the breakfast service and food was superb. Downside was the temperature - it was sooo hot - even... More

Came to the Palm Court for a family do and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The staff are friendly and attentive and the food is excellent. Considering the dining area was full the meals came out quickly and the food was yummy. My only criticism being that there was too much red wine on the plate and in the gravy... More

Stayed here for three days last week. Reduced rates gave B+B for two people at £60 per night in a room with only a shower - no bath. We were impressed by most of the standards in this hotel and initially wondered why it was not graded higher then a three star. The restaurant and downstairs bar were very impressive... More

Just spent 2 wonderful days at the Palm Court and cannot praise it enough. The staff are super and the chefs are worth their weight in gold, the food was fantastic. The room was extremely welcoming, spacious and warm with all the extras you would expect from a 5*. The bar prices were very similar to our local pub prices... More

Dear Guest, Well as praise goes it doesnt get much higher than this. As the Manager of the Hotel part of my daily routine is listen to all guest feedback so that we can continue to deliver the very best that we can offer. When logging onto Tripadvisor I was truly pleased to see that we delivered an enjoyable experience... More

Although from this area of Yorkshire I never knew this hotel existed. We were given a choice of room so obviously chose the larger one. Very clean but in need of refurbishment. Some water damage on the ceiling and the paper had been replaced using sticky tape! Entrance to swimming pool needs sorting out. First floor dining room and lounges... More

Interested in afternoon tea but stunned by the sight of the cream and white restaurant with candles and flowers. So booked the £50 per couple, 3 course dinner with coffee and a bottle of wine offer that evening. The four of us had terrific evening, beautiful atmosphere, superb food and excellent wines. The restaurant was quiet it deserves more customers. More

Dear Guest. Thank you for your comments in regards to your recent visit to the Palm Court. The Lounge was completely refurbished just over two years ago with a view to offer our guests and local residents something new to Scarborough. Our Afternoon Tea is proving very popular indeed with all food being prepared in house , ranging from homemade... More
