The insolvency of the group of which WH was part, caused us not to make our usual (for the last 5 years) winter visit. News of new ownership, especially with the retained management team and chef, tempted us back. We last visited Wrea Head in February 2010.We were not sure what to expect on our visit April/May 2012. we were saddened that the hotel had gone into receivership and were delighted to to find it reopened under new ownership.The management was as welcoming as ever especially Ann.
