We stayed here for 4 nights in March and its put me off travelodge full stop. It was cheap (around £35) per night but to be honest it wasnt even worth that. The location is good and its easy to find. The staff were also really helpful too so there was a good side. We moved room after night one... More

Stayed there for 3 nights. Arrived 6:30 pm Parking nightmare have to park in multi-storey cost £10 for 24hrs. Given the swipe card for room 406 (Sea View). Bed had been slept in and was unmade. Dirty cups and teaspoons. Previous occupants rubbish in the litter bin and an overpowering smell of drains. Great start given the fact that the... More

If you want a basic hotel which is in a perfect location then this is it. I paid around £20 per night for a double room which is difficult to beat. The downside is that there is a distinct lack of investment in the place - one lift was still not working and some of the decor is a little... More

Location of the hotel is very good for the south beach and town center. Car parking could be a problem but the hotel staff suggested a car park pass from the tourist info center, this was very good and could be used in the underground car park very nr to the hotel, also it can be used at selected car... Stayed here for one night bank holiday weekend and from start to finish it was absolutley awful to say the least. Couldn't get the rooms right but when they did the keys didn't work then found out other guests had been issued with the same rooms. Both the lifts were out of order which is not good when the hotel... More

Focusing on the positive - the staff (especially the receptionist's) were extremely well mannered and helpful. We experienced the kind help of one receptionist when requesting a sea view room. Understandably sea view rooms cannot be guaranteed but my advise is to ask on arrival and if non available be willing to change rooms mid-stay. Wouldn't bother with ordering food... More

We stayed for one night in a spacious family room which was warm, clean and tidy and appeared to have been recently painted with the addition of extra plug sockets (via yards of electrical conduit), though little thought seemed to have been given to the safety of young patrons (accessible plug sockets, direct contact with panel heaters etc). The room... More

I booked a family room. On opening the door it felt like i was going back into the 50's the room was old and in poor condition. The window was covered in condensation. There was no light fitting on the ceiling only a light bulb. The supposed bed for my two children was two mattresses on the floor, both of... More

Stayed one might in April 2012. As with other reviews room was shabby, not very clean, one of the cups still had coffee in from the previous guest. Carpet and bathroom floor were dirty. After we checked out we discovered we had left a mobile phone in the room. We returned within 2and a half hours. The room had been... More
