Alan and Jude were perfect hosts and have done a great job in making The Leeway a really welcoming, clean and comfortable guesthouse. The breakfast was superb. Only stayed the one night but were seen off like old friends. Recommended.

My partner and I only stayed for 1 night at the beginning of October but we couldn't fault our stay. The owners are very friendly and took time to chat to us. Thank you for posting you review, as the new owner as of November 2011 I would like to appologise for the bar being closed, this was to facilitate the move by the previous owners but normal service has now resumed with a wider selection of drinks and snacks.

Just got back from the Leeway after an annual works reunion. Rooms are very clean with great see views. The location is nice but a bit of a walk to the sea front attractions. The owners of the hotel are very nice and could not do enough for you.

Only stayed the one night and had to rush off to an appointment early the next morning but nothing was too much trouble for the lovely owners while I was there.
I was able to check in and leave my luggage at the hotel before noon and enjoy Scarborough .
Can't wait to stay again... :o)

came to stay here for 2 nights. Not been in the area before so hosts were very helpful in telling us what was where...breakfast was fab just what we needed to fill us up before a day out, rooms were clean...oh...also had lil chocolates on the bed...if i go back to the area i will defo book again..

most friendly welcome. room very spacious and very clean.bed was very comfortable and clean breakfast was most enjoyable well cooked and hot. would deffinately return and reccomend to anyone wishing to visit scarborough.
