Fabulous New Year break. Smallish room on the third floor but very clean and comfortable. Mattresses and linen very acceptable. Excellent food (outstripping the 2star rating) and the staff were extremely helpful, friendly and polite. Really convenient location and good value. More

4th year Christmas Break. As usual the Staff and food were first class. We read the reviews and checked out the website and were so looking forward to our stay. It was very dark, wet and blowing a gale when we arrived...the car park was full so we were directed to a public car park and told to purchase a £1 parking ticket so we wouldn't get clamped in the morning...not a good... We stayed here again on 9th and 10th December 2011, it was excellent we have stayed previoulsy but somehow they managed to improve on everything. We were a party of 12 and breakfast and dinner was wonderful, the service was fantastic aswe were all served together. The staff were very efficient and friendly.
