I stayed at Higher Coombe Farm during the last week in August 2010 and can certainly say it was a very pleasant experience. I had driven down to the farm from Berkshire in atrocious conditions and was met by Kerstin Farmer who made me feel very welcome and who served up hot coffee and biscuits which was a very nice... Quiet location tucked away off the beaten track. Takes a bit of finding at first and mobile phone was patchy down there. Used this B&B as a base for going to a family function but imagine it would be a nice place for a quiet retreat and base for walking or cycling or touring the area. Hosts were most welcoming... More

We raise sheep and were touring several sheep farms in the area. We stayed at this delightful B&B with Peter Farmer and his Swedish Wife.
