Couple of girlie days away with friends so perfect. I flew into Manchester airport, and in 10 minutes we were at the lodge. Ok, not 5 star, but for 55 and 44 pounds / night it was excellent. Had a one night stay before traveling to Manchester Airport. Room was better than expected for the price. Food at the adjioning pub was very good and reasonably priced. Five to ten minutes drive from airport, depending on traffic. Will definitely use this hotel agian in the future. More

Cleanliness could be majorly improved - decor needs updating - service not the best and generally overpriced for what you are getting. The receptionist when in attendance was very pleasant though, but unfortunately what seemed to be management lacked interest and people skills. Found our 2 night stay at The Lodge next to The Bulls Head in Hale Barns excellent. For £56 per night it was excellent value. Large room with king size bed. Power shower and nice shower gel.
