Recently stayed here for a couple of nights. The room was fabulous, very clean and comfortable lovely soft towels and the bed was huge. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. Cannot praise this place enough. They supply a level of service that is rare in UK hotels. The rooms are beautifully furnished, clean, comfortable and individual. Litle extras like complimentary bottled water, complimentary small bottle of local elderflower spirit, lovely toiletries, good quality tea and coffee, free wi-fi. Just got back after a three night stay in Room 4 "Wild Horse". It's sold as a double room, but is actually two singles put together with double linen. We stayed one night and it was excellent. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Food was superb, especially the breakfast. The only slight problem we had was that our room had a wonderful bath, but it was in the bedroo. Not to our taste but I appreciate it would be someone's idea of heaven. Booked as wedding anniversary weekend away and it exceeded our expectations by far. Friendly down to earth staff, hot tasty food, quirky boutique style rooms that are huge, clean and cosy!
