This is a very convenient hotel for us to stay in when we make our annual trip to visit family in the UK and there are loads of places to eat nearby. We have stayed there at least four times in recent years since Grandma - now aged 92 - has been unable to cater for visitors. Each time we... More

As far as Travelodges go, you don't expect much but this hotel is one of the lower standands we've stayed in. Our room was facing the noisy beer garden of the Harvester, keeping us awake with music and loud voices. The bathroom was very standard. The bath had no plug, nor did the sink, not that you'd want to have... More

Stayed her for 2 nights in a family room as we were attending a wedding nearby. We only payed £25 per night and we got a family room. Pillows were a bit flimsy for my liking but everywhere was clean, tidy and in working order. Staff on reception were friendly, even when we arrived back one night at 1 in... More

Rooms appear to have had a paint job since our last visit. Booked family room for 3 nights. Room was clean and quiet at back off hotel away from pub at front of the hotel. Hotel staff pleasant and always helpful. Only one problem, and we find this at all of the Travelodge hotels, are the lack of bedding, pillows... More

We were dreading staying at this hotel reading the awful reviews but as we paid less than £25 for a family room - what the heck! So we were quite suprised to find a very clean and tidy hotel... ok so the edges are a wee bit frayed and there's the odd bit of bathroom mould stains but lighten up... More

We stayed in this hotel for one night on 3rd December 2011. We had a family room, after reading several of the reviews written about this hotel previously I must admit I was really not looking forward to staying there, but I needn't have worried - it was nice. The room was at the back of the hotel so away... More

Stayed here for one night for the very reasonable price of £19 (@ £9.50 each this is pennies, what is all the fuss about). Staff were friendly, free parking and loads of places to eat and drink within walking distance. Room was clean and tidy and everything you would expect for a budget hotel. There was the option to have... More

I booked this hotel for me and my sister, as it was reasonably priced (on offer) and closeish to the NEC. I wish we had read the reviews first! We had booked a family room, check in was quick, but when we checked the room it was only a double. After a 10min wait at reception, whilst the receptionist chatted... More

Of the various Travelodges I have stayed in, this was by far the worst: tired, grubby and run down. The good: a warm welcome at check-in, free parking and convenient location to the event we were attending. The bad: inconsistent water temperature and lack of preparation by the housekeeping staff. (Despite knowing the room was for double occupancy, there was... More
