Once I found it was pleasantly suprised, the hotel is definitely quaint and the rural location next to the motorway excellent. The room was clean and tidy and better than other reviews on this site have mentioned, the food was excellent and very reasonably priced and the staff were very friendly the only poor point was the bar I expect... Not the cleanest 4 star I have ever been to. Very quirky layout. Sticky breakfast menu card. Watch out for the polystyrene cheep imitation breakfast cereal. Don't ask for a medium steak mine was extra we'll done and in edible. My advice is to avoid.

This hotel was where my husband and i got married in March 2013. We had visited/looked on the internet at other hotels but when we visited Marston Farm we both knew this was the place for us, mainly because Marston Farm is different to the larger chain hotels. It has character about it, it has beautiful low beam ceilings and... More

From check-in to check-out the customer service was outstanding. AM and PM reception ladies were very helpful. Room was clean as you would expect and bed was nice and comfortable. As for the food, we had dinner and breakfast which were both top-class. For our dinner, the waitress was a star - very friendly and looked after us well. The... More

Booked for afternoon tea here through buyagift.com and liked it so much we came back later for dinner! Great location in the middle of nowhere, with direct access to walk along the canal and a tennis court out the front. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic, definitely try the blade of beef if... More

We stopped over here recently, the hotel itself is lovely, the food was fabulous and the staff can't help you enough very friendly! The down side.. The hotel needs some tlc standard things such as cleaning the windows, the windows looked as though they hadn't been cleaned since last summer, not good at all for a 4 star! Also they have... More

Very disappointed. Room was very tired and dated with old fashioned curtains and very dull. Service and food in restaurant average and would not return. Another reviewer has pointed out the small irritations such as one packet of biscuits and one bottle of water when its a double room

The service and food were exceptional. My wife and I stayed for two nights,12/04/13 to 24/04/13. We were attended by Emma and Margaret both of which were very pleasant and helpfull and who went that extra mile in the service to us. All the food was fantastic and I would like to single out the Salmon surprise and the sticky... More

Lucky enough to recieve a voucher for a taster experience and selected this hotel. Am currently 4 courses out of 5 down and if the fifth delivers the same taste, then i take my chef hat off to you. I work in the industry myself and know how frustrating it is to please every customer, but no need to worry.... More

I have been to this hotel a number of times over the past 4 years. The hotel comprises two types of bedroom accommodation. There is the old part of the hotel with quite quaint bedrooms and then a modern part that is as good as you would find in one of the larger, more well known hotel chains. Each type... More
