Where do we start. Premier Ins are usually very good with excellent staff and I have to say last time we stayed here it was the usual high standard. What a difference 4 weeks can make.
The staff were rude to the point of being insulting because we had booked with my mothers credit card and we didn't have it with us. The reason for our visit was my mother was seriously ill in hospital and their attitude was very upsetting. At check in the man even said 'most people don't use their mothers credit card when they are ill in hospital, suggesting that we were taking advantage of my mother's illness.
Then, at breakfast they insisted we pay even though it had already been paid for, once again very rude about it. When we returned home we noted that we had been right and it had been paid beforehand. We also noticed that when we walked through reception the check in guy was talking about us to the catering manager. A truly horrific experience at an upsetting time.
