Arrived at 5pm All radiators were off room was freezing !!! 3 hours later still freezing . TV don't work weak signal. All in all a disastrous stay. Only good thing was the friendly lads behind the bar. Avoid at all costs especially in the winter. More

We had a very walm welcome by the lady showed us our room.Excellent ,very clean,comfortable bed.Very clean lots of hot water for a bubble bath.Had drinks and a meal in the bar,beautiful food could not fault it. We held an evening seminar for 40 people, but staff were helpful and the room looked really good as people arrived. The buffet was excellent, especially the fish platter - we hold 6 events a year up and down the country and I wasn't the only one to comment that this is the best buffet we have had for ages.... Generally speaking, no problems at all with the hotel. Easy check in; room quite acceptable -clean, warm. No many tea bags, but instantly provided when requested.Two poor aspects - a couple of patches of mould on the wall and the wall of the bathroom - can easily be wiped off, so why are they still here? Excellent service from such a small hotel. Stayed here for 4 nights in August. Clean spacious room with plenty of hanging space in the wardrobe. Chest of drawers as well. It always amazes me why so many hotels don't provide these little necessities. Plenty free parking at front and also in the private space at the back of the hotel.... More
