We did not stay but had our works christmas dinner in the reaturant which was great. The food was fantastic, service great. A great little boutique hotel which should be supported, we were the only party in the restaurant but for a larger family gathering it would be a great venue with lovely grounds to the rear. More

We loved this hotel, we went there to celebrate our ruby anniversary. Our room was spacious, you pay for what you get! did not like the last review because it put us off but thankfully we went and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel was very clean, the staff were very friendly and the food delicious especially the evening meals, yummy... More

An old 19th century house with lovely wooden staircase, mezzanine and panelling. I was well looked after by courteous and friendly staff. Breakfast was good, as was the evening meal, presented in a modern and flavoursome way. Though about a 10 minute drive from the Centre of Ipswich, it is well served by a local bus service and is very... More

We stayed one night for a nearby wedding, traveling with our ten month old baby. The location of the hotel was lively and quiet which was great for us as we didn't need to go into Ipswich town at all. The room was lovely and large (room 1) with a great sleigh bed. Very warm and comfy. Only downside was... More

This is a quaint little hotel in a quiet village location on the edge of Ipswich just off the A14. The building itself looks very olde worlde and has many period features e.g. wood panelling. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. There was free WiFi internet throughout the hotel, plenty of parking and also the room TVs had 30+... More

In a quiet village location, but close to the A14 and a short drive into the Town Centre - Asda and other out of town retail outlets are nearby. Pleasant grounds and attractive but compact interior to the hotel. Breakfast service was a little amateur but ingredients and range of menu are good. Staff are friendly and welcoming - but... More
