A large hotel just a few minutes walk from the centre of Ipswich.
The receptionist at check-in seemed a bit put-out by our arrival, which wasn't a great start. The staff were otherwise friendly and efficient during my stay.

Better than premier inn quality in a central location, car parking (charge), attractive bar and well equipped gym. Very good value for money. Thoroughly recommend for a weekend stay.

we had a meal with family and friends in the resturant on tues 24th jan i can honestly say it was disgusting,they are charging 12.95 for bought in fish to go with cold chips the plate was cold the fish was tasteless,the menu states homebattered fish i know for a fact it was bought frozen none of the other party...

Very good hotel very central to town centre, cinema and Ipswich Town Football Club. There must be at least 2dozen restaurants within a five minute walk. A friend and I stayed for one night as we were attending a concert at the towns Regent Theatre.
Check-in was easy and was available from noon which was ideal for us. The hotel is conveniently located only a 10 - 15 minute walk from the town centre and the theatre. Car parking on site is good value at £6...

After 11pm when I arrived (thanks to late trains), 10 min walk from station, was checked in quickly. Room very tidy, and slept well.
Although buffet style break fast had a very good choice (and good value when pre paid), hash browns and veggie sausages had been sitting out for a while and were a bit chewy.

Took advantage of an excellent promotion which included free Interent, early check-in was smooth, as was the check-out. Did not take breakfast as it was far too expensive.
