I recently stayed here for four nights. The room was very shabby. No shower. Basin was in the room and bath and toilet were ensuite. Windows did not open but that did not matter because they fitted so badly there was constant air coming through. The room was very cold. Food was awful. Worse than school dinners in the 60s... More

My partner and I spent a mid week break here. We were undecided between the Whitehouse and another nearby hotel, but because of the reviews we opted for the Whitehouse, 36 excellent and 38 good, got that one wrong. How anybody can possibly give this hotel anything more than poor is beyond me. There are some plus points, the staff... More

My wife and I recently stayed at this hotel,a five day trip with Leisuretime, had a great sea view as requested, pleasantly surprised by the friendly welcome.Staff very friendly, food was good, nothing too much trouble when requesting anything.Room 205 was comfortable, bed was clean and comfy, however windows were quite draughty of which Paul the manager was aware,as he pointed out that refurbishment was on... We had room 208 from 20-22 April. Lovely sea views, clean comfy beds, heat when we needed it, lots of hot water and quiet. Although we had trouble with the shower, we managed. Foibles of the hotel were far outweighed by the friendly (Liverpudlian, mainly) staff and the truly marvellous food. The meals were plain (just what we like) but... More

I have just returned from this hotel and must say this is the worst Hotel I have ever stayed in. The bathrooms are disgusting and all the 30 people on our coach said the same!! We were lucky to have working showers or any water at all. The whole Hotel needs updating and the menu is very limited and quite... More

I booked this hotel as a short stay with my elderly mother. On arrival I was impressed that our room was ready or should I say not so ready! Shabby. The TV didn't work neither the small radio clock that was in the room. The wardrobe space was inadequate and falling to bits. I thought that the bathroom needed updating since... More

We have just returned from this hotel and found that although the staff were friendly/helpful they were working under tremendous pressure. They seemed understaffed and ill equipped to deal with a full compliment of guests. Our room was dirty as was the bar and ballroom area. We will return to Llandudno but NOT to this hotel More
