We arrived at this hotel in the late afternoon/early evening. We asked about dinner and was told that we could sign up for the al a carte menu, but we should not wait to long as it was filling up. We asked what was on the menu, and was told that it would be a choise between a meat dish,... More

Very nice family-atmosphere and friendly service. The staff is very helpful to provide informations about tours and how to sightsee the area. Rooms were amazing, with great view to the fjord and spacious. Food was good, I tried salmon and recommend it, also breakfasts were very complete! More

I stayed one night at this hotel with my fiancé and his parents. Unfortunately I was not very impressed with the hotel. To be fair I'll do pros and cons: Pros: Decent breakfast buffet with a large selection of good food. Very clean bathroom. A nice lounge area to hang out in after check out. Able to hold luggage and... More

Board the bus and get away from the tourist areas in Flam. Come to the quiet town of Aurland and relax in a room overlooking the Sogn Fjord. Helpful staff, nice dinner, and small room with a balcony. More

This was my first visit to Norway and I was looking forward to spending the night in the fjords and waking up to beautiful scenery. The trip didn’t work out as expected. We stayed at the hotel in the period between Christmas and new year. If you don’t know Norway this is really not the time to visit. Everywhere we... More

The hotel does feel that it is slightly disorganised especially if you have just stayed at a large chain hotel but it makes up for that in that it is in Aurland which feels like a quiet Norwegian village when Flam is heaving with tourists. (only 15 minutes away by ferry) The view was superb, the room clean and the... More

Our stay in this hotel proved to be the worst in our 3 weeks tour in Norway and certainly one of our worst ever. We stayed there for 2 nights. First of all the hotel has, by far, the worst beds I have ever slept. Every side of my body suffered from the hard matress, whatever position i had. Moreover... More

All started from a misunderstanding (my fault): the price I considered was per person, not per night. When I discovered my error, I was still in time to cancel the booking (the Hotel did not even ask for a security deposit); but we decided to go there the same, because of the Hotel wonderful position. In two, we spent 160... More

We stayed overnight in Aurland on the "Norway in a Nutshell" tour. It was nice to slow down the pace a bit, and the Hotel has a great view of the fjord. The rooms are small but clean and the staff was very friendly. The hotel serves a traditional breakfast (included in your room rate). There is a dinner option,... More

We stayed for 2 nights at this friendly hotel in a beautiful setting and were pleased to be given a 2nd floor room with a balcony where we could sit and enjoy views of the fjord, surrounded by spectacular mountains and tumbling waterfalls. Breakfast was included in the NK1060 price and was buffet style with plenty of hot and cold... More
