Great location, close equally to the sea and the city centre, yet almost hidden from view. all standard facilities in order. staff: friendly and courteous. Food excellent even for vegetarians like me. more
Nice location near the sea, but the grumpy man in the reception killed that advantage fast. And when I had to change rooms to be able to get some wireless internet (which actually didn't work very well in the second room either) I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. When there's storm outside, it would be nice to stay in... more
We got a room right over a noisy disco in the area. Not possible at all to sleep. Eventually we got to change room in the middle of the night. Even from the new room three floors up we had problems sleeping. This totally ruined our stay. We're never coming back. There are far better hotels in Ålesund than this... more
There aren't many hotels in Alesund. This one was OK. The rooms are spacious and quite modern. The location is a bit off all attractions... at the far end of town. But the price was good and I would recommend it. more
