A good value choice. The room was certainly basic but clean and included a kitchen area. There was a sign in the lift asking people to be quiet after 2300 but I never encountered any disturbance during my 3 day stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the very cheap (5KR) coffee was often free, which is something of a bonus in Bergen. The location is excellent, only a couple of minutes walk to the Fish Market, Bryggen and bars/restaurants. The excellent and reasonably priced cafe/bar "Mr Beans / Dr Livingston" is only a few yards away. Recommended for a cheap short break.
