Was happy with the price & location. I used booking.com and it was a good deal. Room nice and modern though communal areas were a little shabby. The room floor was wood laminate and the tv and bed all looked modern. Bed was a little high up for my liking. Friendly staff and the breakfast in the morning was good.

We only had one night in Trondheim but would have been happy to stay here longer. The lobby is great with lots of light and spacious. The hotel is +/- like a giant tube: open lobby till the roof, which is in glass, and rooms around the tube wall. Ok room, ok service and ok breakfast. But way too much noise from partying people in the corridors at night and from the nightclub in the basement. The nightclub is open till 0230 on fridays and saturdays - so I advice people who are planning to go to Trondheim to sleep on these nights to choose another place to stay....

The last time I stayed here cigarette smoke came into the room from the air vent because of smokers outside the restaurant. This time noise from banging on the heating pipes going down the back stairs by the restaurant workers, while the pass by carrying stuff. Found the source of the noise but met little understanding. Great location, ok rooms, breakfast not too exciting

Stayed at the Lipp Hotel in Trondheim and had a good time. Professional and friendly staff, clean room and good breakfast. The room was rather small, but sufficient for a short stay. Very comfy bed.
