Stayed for one night early January. Hotel looks outdated from the outside and that impression continues on the inside. By my standards a total renovation is long over due. Room was small and dark. Fluorescent faded lights by the window enhances the outdated feeling. Worn out squeaky bed. The bathroom on the other hand is recently renovated, light and nice,... More

As previously stated, clean, nice size rooms, free wifi a nice touch but hotel in need of revamp! Breakfast choice not for the faint hearted! More

I enjoyed staying at this hotel. I had a real nice view of harbor. Close to walking street and ferry terminal. Nice breeze from ocean. Good breakfast in the morning. I find Norway to be very expensive - my hotel laundry bill at this hotel was $ 161 after sending off one time with very few items I like this... More

Stayed 3 nights in August 2011, on a business trip Booked superior double but although the room was reasonable in size, the furniture was old, and shabby, and somewhat tired however the room was cleaned daily we asked for a room with a sea view and was given room on a higher floor as requested but it overlooked the cargo... Having stayed in many Radisson hotels around the world - and generally expecting a business atmosphere - this one is distinctly different and seems to cater more to families. The first 'give away' is that there is a step ladder in front of the check in counter so the kids can follow what is going on at the reception. Since... More

The rooms from the 70´s were a study of architectural history! If you travel alone and have to pay for a double room, you would not expect a room with 3 beds and 2 babies beds and the bath was for disabled. After changing room still a extra bed on the floor so I could not open the window. But... More

While it is down by the waterfront in Kristiansand, it is also beside an ugly busy container port. No free parking, and pay parking lot is tiny. Checkin and restaurant staff we friendly and efficient. Breakfast was excellent. The rooms.... ugh. They can't have been remodelled in the last two decades. Loud carpets worn furniture. Musty smells every where. Very... More

I have stayed several times at the SAS since my last review. Both in the main building and the wing. I still prefer the wing, due to large rooms. A bit of a walk in the long corridors, but worth it. I book through the SAS website. In the weekend you can get a room for 995 NOK. One weekend... More

Very expensive for what you get, but that’s Norway, not just this hotel. Staff very helpful and a good experience during the 3 nights that I stayed. Telford’s pub is nothing to write home about, and only CB, the local beer, is on draft, everything else was in cans! The Norwegians build things to last, and this hotel is certainly... More
