Hotel Vic is a very good hotel with very pleasant staff. It is convenient for moving around, cosy and clean. Staff are very helpful and the breakfast is rather good. Conference facilities are good and convenient and it is well suited for business purposes.

Terrible service and dirty rooms, especially under the bed! Also when you order cleaning of laundry, most probably it will not arrive at expected time. But the next day... And when you pay 200 NOK for cleaning of a sweater, it should at least be clean.

In Porsgrunn, there are not many hotel alternatives and this maybe reflects the price. The hotel is classic, yet it has its charm. My single room was small but very comfortable with a large, refurbished bathroom. Internet access was complimentary and reception very good. The best part of the stay was the breakfast, which was excellent.

The Vik is an order hotel, but well keep. The location is convenient to the rail station being a short 5 minute stroll away. The breakfast was good and hearty. The staff friendly and helpful. For the price I'd expect more, but then it's Norway.

We were invited for a family dinner at this hotel, and chose to stay the night there. The food was delicious, and we had a pleasant stay in a nice, large and clean room. The staff is very friendly and helpful. And the price matches the standard well.

The Hotel Vic is pretty average for any European city or Town. The accomodation is adequate without being over the top. The cost is reasonable for the area. Parking is off road and the staff are helpful and cheerful.
