My stay was on a friday to saturday. The room was on the 2nd floor (3 floors from street level). One of the doors in the room could not be closed as the hinge was damaged. Some of the electrical sockets near the bed were smashed and impossible to use. The room and bathroom was very small and felt cramped....

Make sure you get the refurbished rooms. They can assign you an old one, having very poor standard as they are old. Otherwise OK breakfast, good location (in center), nearby parking if you have a car.

Excellent breakfast, small comfortable room.
I think some of the other reviews were unfair given the circumstances

Once you booked this hotel online, you've lost any right you might think have as far as making any changes to you reservation goes. No one will even remotely want to / try to help you is this regard. Extreamly poor service. But, you will get use to this in Norway.

The Hotel is in the middle of being refurbished, the room I was first given was next to 2 rooms in the middle of refurbishment, mine was not refurshed and very scruffy.
I asked to move rooms, the second room was much better but looked directly across the road into Tiger Tiger nightclub, hence very noisy until 2am!
