I've stayed at Tyholmen many times and it's always a pleasure comming back. Service are terrific with friendly and helpful staff. Even though the older part of the hotel is somewhat tired, the rooms are spacious and clean. The newer part is great. View is lovely. Breakfast is very good with lots of varity. More

Stayed here two times for a total of 6 nights. Breakfast was excellent, and the location and the view from the rooms are great. There's quite a noticeable hum from the AC in the hotel, so ask for a room in the east-wing - it's not so present there. Friendly staff, and good standard. More

We had a room in the new block overlooking the harbour, an impressive sight. General decoration was what I would call Scandinavian stylish, very clean and very neat.
