Stayed in a big juniorsuite with balcony. Beautiful big room, big bathroom with both shower and bathtup. Only reason to stay at Grand Hotel is the breakfast, best in town and in the most historical cafe.

No matter where you are in this hotel the "club" across from the main entrance will be with you from evening until 2-4 in the morning. The rooms were somewhat dusty and a deliberate "dirt" trial was not cleaned up the entire 4 day stay. Linens had holes or were frayed. Service people were lovely but it is a tired...

Perfect location just few steps away from all the main attractions. Excellent breakfast and good service, although some rooms are a little bit used and old fashioned. We had booked two singles and in the same price we have received two totally different rooms. Overall the hotel is worth recommending, especially if you are looking for the prime location.

We moved over to this hotel from another one that we didn't care for. It was a great move...actually recommended to us by employees of the other hotel we were staying at. We were impressed as soon as we walked in the door. The bellman were extremely friendly and helpful. The one, took our luggage from us at the door...

Great location, a bit old, rooms (suites) could be renewed, service excellent. A good choice in Oslo.

Very friendly staff, small gym, but overall a very positive experience.

Having stayed in many Leading Hotels of the World and Virtuoso properties, I found this hotel relatively unremarkable, though I must commend them on the quality and warmth of the excellent and discrete service provided...the true shining point of the hotel in my mind. I was quite impressed by the number of hotel staff who consistently addressed me by name...

Hotel is a lengthy walk from the main train station coming in from airport (30 minutes away), but you can catch the underground (2 stops) and exit across the street at the Theater area. It is central to walk to the harbour, and up the hill to the main shopping streets (in 2 separate directions).
It is starting to look...

Oh dear. The last time I stayed at the Continental was 12 years ago. The hotel hasn't changed one bit. If some of the rooms have been modernised it certainly didn't apply to my room. The room - measuring 5m x4m - was tired. The bathroom was tiny, 30 years old and with the dreaded shower curtain. Aaa argh! First...

One of the historical hote in Oslo, it enjoys a magnificant location. It is elegant but not impersonal as many business hotels. A good solution for both business and leisure. The Theatercafeen linked to the hotel offers good dinners in a stilish setting. The staff is helpful and friendly. Rooms are a bit old fashioned
