This is an example of where tripadvisor an be a real help. Just like the review said, it's a boutique hotel with small rooms, not so sound proof walls (the couple in the next room obviously was having more fun than I was), there were goat skins and a Mac for company. Since I knew all this beforehand, it was...

Outside under refurbishment, quiet position, nice interiors, small room but with all comforts - free wifi (no TV, just a nice iMac working as an access point as well), good breakfast, close to the "Castle". Worth the price,

We stayed at this hotel in October 2011 whilst en-route from Spitzbergen back to Germany. The hotel was easy to get to and from from the airport using the subways system, the closest stop being just a 5min walk away. The hotel is very close to Oslo's harbor area which is packed with restaurants and bars.

If you're an Apple fanatic you may appreciate the wall mounted screen with wireless funky keyboard and mouse. If you're a business traveller that just wants to connect your laptop to the network, sync some email, have a beer and eat in the restaurant, you're fresh out of luck. This really isn't the place for you or me. I absolutely...

Dear Stevejnb,
you may not be an Apple fanatic, but you really don´t need to be to get the best out of the in-house iMacs. This is a perfect hotel for couples on a weekend break in Oslo, situated in a quiet street, in the very center of Oslo, close to the wonderful Aker Brygge. Our room (double superior) was spacious, with a glorious romantic twin bed and a quite large sitting area. And Imacs in both places! Reception staff was very nice, helpful and...

I like the regular things like a 'phone, a TV and a towel that actually dries you - oh - and a bar is usualy high on the list plus somewhere to eat - so if you're insistent upon these when you stay away, don't book a room here.
Don't get me wrong, it's a nicely styled place; the rooms...

This was a lovely boutique style hotel and from the moment we arrive, Wilder (pronounced Vilder) made us feel so welcome.
The rooms were small but very quaint and my partner was thrilled with the i mac on the wall.
Breakfast was superb, loved the healthy choices. Tea and biscuits was freely available when you returned after a day of...

Arrived straight from a long haul flight from Australia. Coould't get room access until the standard check in time of 2pm, but were able to store luggage and sightsee in the interim. Once in our room we found it light and bright with extremely comfortable beds, linen and pillows. Generous organic toiletries range for use in the bathroom. Reception staff...

This was a great first stop on our two week trip to Scandinavia. We arrived late to Oslo and were given great instructions on how to reach the hotel. It was very easy and we already were very happy with the location. The room was small but fine. the bed was very comfortable. It was very clean and we liked...
