The hotel is reasonably well located only a short walk from the heart of the city and around 15min walk with luggage from the nearest train station (Nationaltheatret). the reception here wasn't the best. we arrived midday but they still did not have our rooms ready. even when we returned a couple hours later, they weren't totally ready with all our rooms (3 rooms total). my husband and i had our room overlooking an atrium/bar and it was very noisy when guests were mingling there. breakfast was great... more

Scandic Edderkoppen is typical Scandic hotel with nice Scandinavian design, good beds and an excellent breakfast. What could be improved is the service mindedness of the reception staff. As all Scandic hotels they have free and really good wireless internet. I have stayed at this hotel 5-10 times a year over many years. more
