If you want to be close to nightlife, cafés, bus, train, and most attractions, then Thon Spectrum is worth considering. Rooms are newly renovated but a bit small. Oslo is expensive - so calibrate your expectations accordingly. Thon Spectrum is walking distance form the bus terminal. Wireless internet is flawless, breakfast is generous.
